Direct to garment printing, also known as DTG printing, digital direct to garment printing, digital apparel printing, and inkjet to garment printing, is a process of printing on textiles and garments using specialized or modified inkjet technology.

Our supplier will only use the screen-printing process for large orders of designs made up of 'spot' colours up to 10 colours. For more colourful designs like photographs or smaller orders, direct-to-garment technology enables us to give you brighter colours, sharper details and unlimited colours (even on dark coloured shirts) at a lower cost than screen printing and more environmentally friendly due to the use of water-based inks. This is true, direct to garment printing, not a transfer..
